Come gather with other climate-curious readers to discuss the book, "Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants."

Author Robin Wall Kimmerer, an Indigenous scientist and botanist, examines modern botany and environmentalism through the lens of the traditions and cultures of the Indigenous peoples of North America. Through a series of personal reflections, she explores the connection between living things and human efforts to cultivate a more sustainable world.

Facilitated by Sandra Larkin of Pleasant Valley Climate Smart, this book discussion is part of Sustainable Hudson Valley's Climate Solutions Week+.
