In March 2007, the town board committed that governmental operations would be carbon neutral by year-end 2017. Woodstock was recognized at the 2017 annual meeting of the New York Association of Conservation Commissions for its achievement. In September 2021, Woodstock was certified by Climate Smart Communities for achieving a 40% reduction in GHG emissions. This meeting and presentation will explain how these goals were achieved.
