Outdoor Walking Tour

Hosted by Hortus Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

Join us on Saturday, September 21st as we walk through the arboretum showing off some of our favorite ornamental & edible trees and shrubs. We will discuss what growing conditions make these native plants happy in the Hudson Valley, as well as how to design and incorporate them in your setting. This class will highlight some lesser-known native plants including (but not limited to):

Hop Tree - (Ptelea trifoliata), Bladdernut - (Staphylea trifolia), Alabama Snowwreath - (Neviusia alabamensis), Prickly Ash - (Zanthoxylum americanum), Big Leaf Magnolia - (Magnolia macrophylla) 

$25 per person.
