Bus to NYC March

Organized by Extinction Rebellion Mid-Hudson

Join the March to End Fossil Fuels on Sunday, September 17th, in NYC! Ride the bus to NYC from Woodstock, Kingston or New Paltz!

Bus originates in Woodstock at the Village Green, arriving at 8:30 a.m., departure time: 9:00 a.m. The bus will stop at NYS Thruway Park & Ride in Kingston. Arrival time in Kingston: 9:20 a.m. Departure time from Kingston: 9:30 a.m. The second stop will be at New Paltz Park & Ride. Arrival time in New Paltz: 9:50 a.m. Departure time from New Paltz: 10 a.m. Current plan is for bus to arrive in NYC at noon at Columbus Circle, 59th Street and Broadway.

Current plans are for the bus to depart from NYC at 5 p.m. and arrive in Woodstock at 8 p.m. (stopping in New Paltz and Kingston on the return trip).

This is not just another protest. This is a powerful movement of change... together, we will send a clear message to world leaders – especially President Biden – that it is time to put an end to the era of fossil fuels and invest in a clean and sustainable future for all. Many, many climate groups are in coalition to build this march. The United Nations General Assembly will be in session on the 18th and 19th, followed by the United Nations Climate Ambition Summit on September 20th and we are sending a strong message to the many world leaders who will be there.... wake up, governments, Climate Action NOW!
